Apple gave its MacBook Air models a slight boost in speed and cut $100 from the price of each of its 11-inch and 13-inch models price on Tuesday, meaning the entry-level model now sells for $899.
The 11-inch MacBook Air with 128GB of storage and the 13-inch model have also been enhanced with a 1.4 GHz dual-core Intel Core i5 Haswell processor. The previous models had a 1.3 GHz processor.

In addition to the speed bump, Apple's battery estimates for the refreshed MacBook Air are now even better, with the company promising up to 12 hours of usage on the 13-inch model. Aside from that, though, the models are very similar to the MacBook Air computers that were on the market in 2013. We reviewed those last year and found they had strong battery life and improved graphics performance.
